E- Health Research Centre is a joint venture between CSIRO and the Queensland Government, the Australian e-Health Research Centre is a leading national research facility in ICT for healthcare innovations.
"Established in 2003, the e-Health Research Centre is Australia’s leading research hub for eHealth innovation and is at the forefront of innovative patient-oriented health solutions development worldwide. The Centre conducts research and develops Information and Communications Technology (ICT) applications for the management, integration and processing of health information for decision-making that will improve the quality and safety of healthcare for individuals and communities across the nation. It aims to provide better access to health services information, leading to improved practices for the management of individuals and patient cohorts by supporting fully informed clinical healthcare decisions."
